Academic System
Cadets are enrolled in 8th standard of the PTB Curriculum and continue their study for five years up to the higher secondary / college level. Final Board exams for class 9th, 10th 1st year & 2nd year are administered under the direct control of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi.
LIBRARY
There are around 2000 (Two thousand) books in the Library. The collection of the library offers academic programs, textbooks on Urdu, English, Mathematics, religion, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Computer Science, Islamic History, Agriculture studies, Statistics, Political Science, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Arts & Craft. The Library is enriched with valuable reference materials such as Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Annual reports and publications, Survey reports, census reports, country reports, statistical yearbooks, defense-related publications.
LABORATORIES
Askari Cadet College Kallar Kahar has fully operational computer, Bio, Chemistry and Physics Labs, approved by The Higher Education Commission and other controlling authorities from the government.
CLASSROOMS AND LABS ARE EQUIPPED WITH AV AIDS AND LED SCREENS.
SECURITY / MONITORING SYSTEM
The entire college has more than 100 monitoring cameras, which enable parents/guardians round the clock to keep an eye on their child/children through their smartphones.
INFRASTRUCTURE
There is a large academic building where the cadets do their classes and study during prep time. Daily three time meals are served in the college dining hall which has a capacity of 200 cadets. Usually cadets say their Maghrib and Jumma prayer in the college masjid. All officials of the college live in the college.
HOLIDAYS
ACCKK is fully residential educational institution where we consider “leave” a privilege and not a right.
Standard leave / holiday plan for cadet is as below:-
• Summer Break – As per the govt rules
• Winter Break
• Eid Holidays
• Ashura, 9th & 10th Moharam (Optional)
COLLEGE ATTENDANCE POLICY
Askari Cadet College Kallar Kahar is a full time residential cadet college, duly approved by the Government. Our attendance policy is as under:
a) Minimum 80% overall attendance is required for a student to qualify for sending admission to the board for final exam.
b) All cases falling below the minimum attendance will be forwarded to the Principal for re-consideration on disciplinary and academic grounds.
