COLLEGE ATTENDANCE POLICY
Askari Cadet College Kallar Kahar is a full time residential cadet college, duly approved by the Government. Our attendance policy is as under:
a) Minimum 80% overall attendance is required for a student to qualify for sending admission to the board for final exam.
b) All cases falling below the minimum attendance will be forwarded to the Principal for re-consideration on disciplinary and academic grounds.
c) Any cadet below the 65% of overall attendance shall not be considered at any conditions.
- A student absenting himself for consecutive 10 days shall be brought in “RED” attendance list. His/her case shall be forwarded to Group In charge, Accounts, HM and Comdt marked as “RED” in attendance. Group incharge shall immediately contact the parents/guardians of the cadet and inform them about College attendance policy.
- In case of a student being absent for consecutive 14 days or more will immediately be processed for “Struck off Strength” (SOS) action.
- All students who are SOS shall not be given College Leaving Certificate with attendance Certificate. Any student applying for it will have to clear his/her all dues till SOS date.
- In case of seeking for re-admission it will be processed through proper re-admission formalities (excluding clothing items which shall be optional on sale as used).
- Principal is responsible for implementation of this policy and keeping it up dated all the time.
NOTE:- In no case, SOS or those below minimum attendance percentage shall be allowed to appear in final board exam, on the College Roll.
